Dough

  • 2 cups of warm milk
  • 2 eye yolks
  • ½ of vanilla powder
  • 5 tbsp of sugar
  • 3 tbsp of yeast

The wet ingredients are mixed together and left for around 5 minutes for the yeast to activate.

  • 5 cups of flour
  • 2 tbsp of baking powder
  • ¼ tsp of salt

The wet ingredients are gradually added to the dry ingredients while constantly knitting the dough until all components are fully incorporated. Then, 100g of butter are added and knitted within the dough.

The dough should rest for at least one hour, and three minutes after cutting into form. Fry the dough on a medium low heat to fully cook the dough without burning the exterior.

Glaze

  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp of milk

Pinch of vanilla
