• 1 small, shredded onion
  • 1 small, shredded carrot
  • 3 cloves of garlic (shredded)
  • 1 tsp. shredded ginger

You can either shred the vegetables or finely chop them based on your preference.

Start off by cooking the garlic and ginger in a pot until golden, then add the onions, also till golden, and lastly, add the carrots and cook till all components are fully cooked (around five minutes).

  • 4 cups of water (of stock for extra flavor)
  • teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ tsp of black pepper
  • ¼ seven spices
  • ¼ ginger powder
  • 2 tbsp of dissolved flour
  • Pasta (optional)

Add the water, bring to a boil, and add the spices. When the soup starts boiling, add the flour mixture and boil until the soup thickens. If you decide to add pasta, you should add it before adding the flour. Leave it to cook, then add the flour.
