- 3 large, chopped onions
- 5 chopped cloves of union
- Oil/butter
The garlic is first cooked until golden, then the onions are added and cooked till golden. It’s recommended to add a pinch of salt and sugar while cooking the onions and garlic.
- 4 cups of water or stock
- A pinch of black pepper
- 2 tbsp of flour
Add the water and black pepper and boil for ten minutes, then add the flour and blend the soup using a hand blender or a food processor. Bring to a boil till the mixture thickens.
When serving the soup, toast and cheese should be added on top.
